Has anyone rode one of these?

I like the garishness of them, especially the Scout exoskeleton. Much better than the Harley water cooled escapes-my-mind sled. Of course I like the Goldwing too. Oh the humanity.

I don't think it'll be much different than the Chieftan riding wise other than a bit more wind protection with the lower fairing.

The Indian demo truck is coming to my area next weekend, I'm gonna try to get down there saturday morning. If I don't report back remind me.

According the artilces I have read one should sit about 1" higher and 1" back on the new one piece touring seat. I bet Russell Day long coud even improve on that. I am thinking about a 2 week trip next year and I want a trunk bike to go on. I don't need a fast bike anymore to enjoy the ride.

I hear ya, That's why I decided to get an Electra Glide. If Triumph had something along these lines of bikes I could've had my cake and eat it too, but they don't so I had to go with what was most important and practical for us. I'll try to ride both and report back on the differences between them.

I guess you only drive a Bugatti or Viper as well

Actually I do like the new Indians, you know. I was checking them out before I bought my Roadster this year.
But a Roadmaster is about USD 40k here, and then people are driving pretty fast on the Autobahns in Europe. So after I would spend a fortune on it, I'd be teased by minivans on the highway - because that mill gives me a whopping 73hp.

Congrats for everybody who doesn't mind, but I would feel uncomfortable. I prefer being able to just leave other traffic behind, at my discretion.

So, luckily there was another bike that looked phantastic, had a bigger engine with almost twice the power, and even sold for much less. Plus a great brand, and 10 decent years of model history. That's it, I took it right away. Best decision ever!

@GPMAZ did you get wet the other day when it "rained" in phoenix? down in Glendale, sun city this past weekend didn't see any sign of all that water sorry for not following thread

Are you a tall guy? I am about 6'4" and have never sat on a Harley without feeling on I was on the tank, I guess some seat mods could help that as well. Yeah like you I called Triumph to see if a touring bike with trunk and fairing was coming out next year, I was told no.

Yeah, it was a real gully washer. Water was within a couple of feet of my back door. Almost 5" in a few hours measured a couple of miles from here. The desert doesn't handle that kind of rain in a short time. Looks like another one coming this week.
