Has anyone rode one of these?

But BMW's and KTM's Are both Freaking Ugly :whitstling:
as for the Indian No thanks I like retro but not that much retro

Function over form. Both BMWs and KTMs are infinitely more functional than an Indian will ever be. Its all a matter of what you expect from a motorcycle. If you start off wanting to look a certain way you will almost always sacrifice something for that look. They don't handle well, they are limited by needing an engine that has the right look, and thus sacrifice performance, and then there are the tassels.

But, I'm sure they look good parked in front of a bar.

A guy camped behind us at Sturgis was riding one so I got to see it up close...not a fan. I think Rocket are beautiful...form and function, etc

They look nice .not many Indians around .my neighbor had one .it was his hobby and took several years to restore. I finally saw him ride it down the road .it reminded me of the 1942 version of the Harley WLA I think it was .the whole bike was red . My mate who rides a2012 BMW GS 1200 has always been a fanatical BMW supporter had one ride on my bike .he reckoned it was to big and heavy .when we went to the pub at Byron we could keep an eye on the bikes from where we drank .he was always counting how many bikes got the most attention. I must admit he used to get pissed off more times than not

:D;)just pulling your chain Harry :whitstling: truth be known if I were to have a second bike it would be a two way (used to be three way) tie between the a KTM Adventure 1190 R and a Triumph Tiger Explorer, The older BMW GS's of only a couple of years ago were great but the latest version Boxer motors are getting a bit brittle for my liking not to mention the diffs grenading BMW is trying to hard on the weight saving and building to lightly

ive riden the cheiftain and loved it...i like the look of the engine...not so much the front fender though...

the 111 inch mill is much better than the HD.. it will eat HD up,even the CVO 110inch stuff

it also handles WAY better than an HD of the same class...not really a fast bike, not really a slow bike either..but a nice bike none the less....IMO
