Hahah dreamers...........

Most decent riders can pass the M/C driving coarse. I believe that they are the ones to ride passed their abilities and the equipment they ride.
The mistakes I see everyday made by people on M/C it is hard to believe that any of them survive. Ignorance is the best way to explain it. The lack of knowledge is Ignorance.

I do not claim to be a good motorcycle rider by a long shot but I have rode a M/C for more than 55 years. I also had a shoe box full of tickets all for speeding an C&R. I have never lost control of a road bike on the hi-way

I guess it is that loose nut between the handle bars and the seat that causes the safety issues and compromises others

Not the Tire:rolleyes:

I said that just for you LUPE LOL
I know you did:D
now i'm looking for an Exedra Max since my son is riding the bike to RAA and he has never ridden a power crusier before, much less with a car tire, i don't wanna take the chance of him killing himself or his girlfriend, i could use your advise of where to buy one:)

THE ROCKET handles better with a 140 front tire it makes a big improvement BUT if you want to ruin the handling just mount a CAR TIRE that f---ks up everything LOL
I know lots of guys that swear by the car tire. I've never tried it. Bike leans and a car doesn't.

Art

I never knew anyone that made a 700cc kit or was that just yours own...I wish I would have known about it.

11.96@ 111 mph was an awesome for a pure stock H1 ...Congrats

How quick was the 700 cc, did you have to run it in the open class. Down here all we had was pure stock and open class as far as the motorcycles.
WE made the 700cc kit larger pistons and sleeves race ported cycls and higher compression they ran ten second times and looked like a stock 500 a real sleeper we ran them in the modified classes we ran the AMDRA rules they had classes for everything

YEP you got that right dont you run bike tires on your V8 bikes ? I know they originally ran car tires but changed over to bike tires to improve the handling

Most V8 bikes run bike tires, I do. As always there are those that swear by car tires. I never tried them so I can't give a proper opinion but my improper opinion is I think bike tires are better on a bike than car tires. I think car tires are popular because they are cheap compared to bike tires. I run a 300 Metzler on the back of the Chopper and a 280 on the Boss Hoss. The bikes get around corners surprisingly well but no where near as good as the Rocket touring does. One thing about riding the V8 bikes is that after that even a Harley feels like a road racer. You have to work at it to make a Boss Hoss go around twisty roads and there is a lot of dragging of pegs but it seems to get around em faster than you would imagine. In my opinion my Rocket Touring handles great for a big bike and I can beat some that should be beating me.

I have had car tyres up on two wheels just before they rolled over several times :eek:

My touring handles much better than my C109RT did but that's not saying much:whitstling::whitstling:

I don't know, I think the 109 gets a much worse rap for it's handling than it deserves...every time I saw a write-up in a magazine about the 109 they were bashing it for being a poor handler. I've ridden most of the big V-twin muscle cruisers and I thought the 109 would outhandle any of them...it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be, but the R3R handles better I think...the biggest drawback to the 109's handling was it's lack of ground clearance...it couldn't be leaned very far....
