Gearbox/clutch drama

Other than nearly snapping that **** low oil pressure sensor again, the frame and engine went back together easily. Mrs Hunt was valuable on the engine crane, helping to lower the frame, but really I could have done the whole lot myself. Most importantly, when I flick the shifter she changes gear!
Took 2 goes to get the tranny 100% - an e-clip that retains the shifting fork rod wasn't seated properly....test test and retest before I finally sealed it all up.

The alternator cover is ummmm errr quite exciting to refit....turns out magnets are stronger than I am....

well done mate, now i know who to call if mine craps itself

We're all going to learn rocket maintenance from now on ... Chapman's officially closed on Saturday and the other mob already have more work than they can handle

I've got the throttle cables refitted (and yes they are the right way around) but the grip won't return freely to closed. Everything closes fine if I roll the throttle back. I have used a light spray lube on all the throttle body springs but that doesn't seem to have helped. I did clean the whole assembly when I had the bike apart but was sure to dry everything with a hair drier.

Any one had a similar problem or have an idea of what might need adjusting?

u shrunk it with the hair dryer.:(
is grip loose?
cables could be to tight. back them off then see if the grip is lose.

Also check and see if the throttle assembly is pushed to far onto the handle bar, that will cause the bar end to rub on the inside of the throttle grip.
