Jay- let us know when you get a chance to check those signal bulbs and/or headlights. I'd be interested to know if they've all burned out (regulator). If not, a bad ground sounds likely.

I just added a second ground wire to the original on my bike- members have said that it'll have more starting power. I noticed that the old lead was pretty dirty at the connection to the motor- wouldn't hurt to clean and scuff that up.

Yes I have horn tail and brake lights

Yes I have and still no headlights

What plugs into that grey connector? Is that your instrument cluster? I am wondering if when the tank was off for the heated grip install if one of the pins in one of the multi-way connectors (such as that grey one) got bent. Could be disrupting the power or the ground. Unfortunately this is like when updating the software on the computer. You have to unwind to the last known good configuration.

Don't know they was nothing plugged into that when I started
Everything sweeps like it's supposed to everything else works except the heated which worked after I hooked them up
The headlights worked before I started
Then yesterday I lost my turn signals
My brake and tail lights work
It will probably be the weekend before I try again
