Free unrestricted maps for Rocket R GT and TFC now online

like a charm thankyou...
Loaded the 'Full power' tune into my cobbers 'R' model this afternoon...we went for a ride and he says it is way smoother and pulls solidly all the way thru now compared to the tune that was in it...i think he's happy now.

Well, I've gone through a number of posts here in this thread, but perhaps I missed some due to the total pages to flip through (currently 48). Out of curiosity, my2021 GT there are two separate tunes. A "US" specific tune, and what appears to be a rest of the world tune, of sorts. I've uploaded a screenshot. As I noticed earlier in the thread posts someone from Alabama loading up a non-US version map. Why would I want to, not want to load a country-specific map? In other words, is one map providing more power than the other? Cuz if so, I want that map!

It’s not about power, at least for the Rocket. There are specs in these maps which you can’t see or edit on TuneECU. Some of these control functions in the bike which you might lose if you load the wrong map. If you use Penner’s map on a stock Rocket, you’ll gain a crapload of peak power.

New Zealand and Australia count as the rest of the world except for countries where specific maps are available. For example, Brazil has a stock map (31014). All the fuel, ignition, ETV, idle, and f-l switch tables are the same as in the U.S. tune (31013) but there must be some other stuff that’s different.

Gotcha, those comments make sense. Let us be honest here, it's not like this bike is a poor performer when it comes to power, so I'll just stick with the US version just to be on the safe side. my OBDLINK LX should be here tomorrow and I'll get rolling. Appreciate the comments!

The Penner tune simply unrestricts the top end throttle. You may never open it to 100% though.
