Finally did it!!

JRock is dead right there that is not a good choice you will be asking for trouble if you are in the states go for the riken raptor, here in Auss the best tyre I have found is the federal 595 the tyre needs to be symmetrical -- bothsides tread facing same direction also go for a tyre with a wear rating 300 or less it needs to be a Hi performance sports tyre

Bridgestone CT

OK, a few weeks ago I went to the dark side. I have run a Kuhmo Run Flat in the past on a Goldwing. It is a Ultra High Performance Summer Tire. I used tirerack dot com to see check performance ratings. It said the Kuhmo was a summer tire that was so so in the rain. I found that the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS Pole Position Run Flat rated really well all around traction. It is an Ultra High Performance All Season Tire and does great in the rain. It looks awesome on the R3T. I wanted a 205/60-16 to keep stock tire diameter, but the Run Flats don't go that tall. I put a 205/55-16 on her.

How did you find the tyre, you never posted your review :)
I am in the UK and I am interested in your findings.
Are you still on the Darkside? :D
If so, have you had any trouble with the Old Bill?
What do you do come MOT time, do you have to change back to a bike tyre?

Just Curious here.. would this work with Triumphils Mitch recomendation ?

Both Mitch's and this one looks more rounded.. anyone who is an X-Spirt know
Dam you Dennis for a moment I thought you had found something new on the Auss market, thats not a bad looking tyre but this Federal 595 is the best tyre I can find here in Auss, Michelin unfortunitly don't bring thier full range (available to the states) to Auss. Note it has now done 10,000 km and will probally go close to another 10,000 km:) and grips like you wouldn't believe and doesn't have the bad Toyo habits

Ofcourse mine is more rounded mine is a motorcycle tire ............. Unless u mean mich as in Michelin not Mitch as in living legend ;)
 That's alright I thought he was talking about you at first too nearly choked on my coffee till I read it again:D:D:D

Had me going for about a second too but I know he's not had the Bridgy on for long and pretty sure he wasn't thinking of ditching it.
