Just wondered if you put anti-seize grease on axle I do on mine and grease differential splines I had an axle in a Suzuki freeze up like to have never got it out, ever since I used anti-seize word to the wise.
Removed the rear wheel myself, really straightforward job apart from getting it off the ground. Our bike is REALLY arse heavy, so you've got to strap the front down to make the back come up. Took it to a local tyre shop that had the old one off and new on in about 15 mins. Went with traditional stick on weights rather than dyna beads.
Covered about 150 miles on it yesterday and will post my opinions later when I get a minute.

Always! and I greased the splines as well. I was a bit freaked out when putting it back together, as I hadn't really looked at it when it came apart, but it looked like the rear wheel hadn't gone all the way home as there is a gap/lip where the wheel meets the bevel box. Must have done it right tho as it runs well, wheels lined up and there are no weird noises!
I just had a General GM 235 installed. (Look at the rounded profile.) I can't tell much difference but of course I am accustomed to CTs. I really like the tread pattern. Looks like it will channel water well. I like laraza's tread pattern too.
That massive hitch is how I get away with pulling heavy loads.
I've posted this before but it is always good for a laugh. This was after I took the HD to the shop and was unhooking the trailer.
ok this weekend i replaced the front and rear metz and went darkside with the RIKEN 225x55x16 on the rear and the bridgestone excedra r701 for the front.
started with 30lbs on the rear and this feels very comfotable but will play with a few pounds either way to check what feels best.for right now this appears to be a sweet combo and looking forward to many miles from this setup.
thanks to the guys that made the switch earlier and for their input on this site...well done;
