WE are lucky you should see what the BMW owners have to do to service the drive splines you have to disassemble the bike I would never own one

I used the following grease on mine, is it ok for the short term until i get the good gear ?

I would say no after reading on their site I re read your post until you get it from the US it should be ok for a couple of weeks.
I would use Loctite you may have to get it from the US as I did

I just dont understant how it's no good if it's made for axles and splines ?

Don't think there is enough moly in it.
