Hi guys and gals anyone add bearing failure on rocket roaster drive output bearings before. I had no sign anything out of the ordinary no noise, no lack of power. just started when I went to do a oil and filter change and found this at bottom of sump

Hi guys I'm new to putting anything on but I've got to say something out the classic rocket111 2.3 04plate with only 33 thousand miles on it output shaft.I had no noise at all still had power. Just wanted to carry out a oil change and yes after that oil light wouldn't go out so tried and checked everything so it's time to take the oilpan off and infestagate the cause so dropped the oil pan and found both oil gauges filled with metal bits basically knackered the engine frome output shaft bearings need another engine or stripping for parts

The oil light coming on is the problem, id bet you got more than the big case bearing on output shaft. Id pull the cam cover and look at the other damage. The cams with no or low oil are gonna be jacked along with cam ladder journals probably ugly. They had a problem with bearings on torsional damper going on backwards from factory. Oil light means bad and it only takes a sec. I’ve blownem up and rebuilt but theres alot too rebuilding one correctly. I would say congratulations you blew one up but you probably had bearings installed backwards from factory
