I had ter go to work by bike, in any weather,in my young days-:(-(as did most everyone back then).
I choose not to this time of life; Fair weather 'wuss', now:rolleyes: :laugh:

No way, Jose! Riding is neither a comfortable, fun nor safe option around here with the seasonal road and weather conditions we have.

When I rode in this morning, it was around 50 degrees with a slight mist and some fog, and I still didn't see any other riders.....
**** California pussies :D

Pussies alright. Do you reckon it was the temperature, mist or fog that put them off of just the fact it was morning?

riding in non perfect conditions separates bikers form motorcycle "enthusiasts" in my mind..I rode down to 40 degrees F this fall..I dont wear all the leather either so I froze my nuts off...loved every minute..ridden in the rain too...and I dont own decent rain gear either....sometime a little inclimate weather helps me feel alive....numb..but alive:D

I don't mind the rain... It's just the icicles hanging from my nose that get embarrassing. :(

Okay...Rain if I have to (like on a trip) but I avoid it if I can as it trashes my bike. I have the gear so I stay dry. Cold to a point (maybe the mid 40s) is okay if I dress for it, but it's not like when I was a kid and nothing bothered me. As long as I don't have to go inside with all my gear on and work up a sweat. Michigan is not rider friendly past mid October. With all that said....some of you guys are just plain nuts! Apparently I am just getting to old for crap weather riding!

I'd be riding a lot more often if I could rely on my Rocket starting if the temps are below 45F. No way it starts being this cold. No fire. Getting gas but just won't fire. Brand new battery, too and all the cable mods and starter relay mods and headlight mods.
