Competition Werkes Exhaust 2020 R3

Seems this thread died :(
I just ordered the Competition Werkes, they had it installed on another bike at dealer, sounded awesome and threw flames, LOL.
Personally, I love the popping on decel on my last bike with Two Brothers.

So as a follow up, The bike is definitely loud. The sound at idle is terrific. It does pop on decel... a lot. I asked Werkes about it and got this response:

"Popping on decel is actually a good thing. It is a sign that your bike is not running to lean.
There is a great video on YouTube posted by Dynojet explaining this.
All bikes that are running correctly have it. It is simply concealed more by the longer (large volume) canisters.
It is impossible to conceal in small canisters without leaning your bike out (which is not recommended).
Adding the Exhaust Inserts will soften the popping sound slightly. But, they will not get rid of it."

Really ???
That sounds like the biggest Bulla shiet sales speak that I've ever heard.

I wonder why it is that one adds fuel to the zero throttle setting to stop this decel popping on the earlier bikes.

Oh, and I'm not getting at you here smordue, as you said this was the response you got from these Guys.

This was years ago but I think it was a Dynojet video where the guy tells you to start by adding 10% at zero throttle from above idle to whatever rpm where it seems to be popping.

A little decel pop is tolerable but to much indicates a problem with the tune or the pipes. But what do I know I’m just a tooth mechanic.;)

I had a temp filling at my dentists last night, we talked about rocket 3s. My filling fell out at the first lights. You may be a great dental technician.
I'm new to this forum, please accept my light humour.
My new bike pops a bit.
Cheers Mike
