Click from clutch or transmission

Hey all,
On my last couple of rides i've noticed a strange click from the engine area. When changing up from 1st to 2nd to 3rd i here the usual clunk and then as you let out the clutch lever there is a secondary click, same when down changing and letting out the clutch i can here a click. Cant hear the click when winding her right up but that might just be me. When stationary and in 1st with the clutch pulled in, if you let it out i can hear a click. Really annoying, pillion can hear it as well.

Gear change is fine if somewhat clunky, doesnt jump out of gear, and... doesnt click all the time, i would say more so when hot.

2010 Rocket Roadster with only 5k miles. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

When was the last time oil was changed?

Dealer changed oil at 3750 in March 2014, now on 4690. Checked oil in tank and does look a bit of a browny colour. I ordered a filter and will get some oil today and change it just to be sure.

Looking through the docs that came with the bike, it had an electronic health check. There is a line which says "Locked ECU" and a pass tick next to it. Does this mean the ECU is locked and could explain why Tune ECU wont connect?

Can't help with the ecu but I am sure someone else can
