Try stop being a smartarse and slinging insults at our fellow Aussies and things will improve out of sight.

Tomcat, I am not being a smartass. Just making a point. If you read through the thread you will see that I asked a specific question to a specific person and did not got a response. However I did get a response from lostride that did not answer the question. But as you can see some other forum members including Aussies had no issue sharing good valuable information. So maybe the trap that needs to be shut isn't mine after all. Perhaps the three amigos that tend to be the least easy to deal with need to take some happy pills once in a while and get over their selves. I have found everyone on this forum to be gracious

with their information with the exception of the three amigos. In fact I think I have you guys figured out. Tomcat= Oscar, Lost ride=Statler, Cranberra=Waldorf. One Grumpy old prick, and two bitter old guys all 3 with nothing good to say. So I hope all this helps and it gets things to improve outta site. Thanks for your input.

It's not just forgetfulness. Some people live in other parts of the world with different time zones and may have just logged on to find 3 new pages of posts. It's 8.02 pm here and I've just finished dinner.
You also can't rule out that maybe some people simply can't be bothered helping certain individuals.

This all started with me posting a short story about me and a guy on a Honda Fury that you clearly stated you did not understand, and you got your panties in a bunch over that. Seriously canberra you need to get over your self. Try to keep your negative comments to your self. Your comments are completely unnecessary. I am trying to get information about anything Rocket related. I did not come on this forum to deal with a keyboard bully. You are making issues where they don't exist. So kindly cut the crap. I will.

Just rocking up here and throwing out a question in a demanding way without even trying/attempting to figure it out first is a bit insulting to some of the members here, because it has a bit of disrespect about it. I think mocking 2 members (I am not one of them) that have 20,000 posts between them is not a good way to get started here.

I think we all understand your enthusiasm, just take it easy and be prepared to accept that some people might not agree with your style.

I think we all understand your enthusiasm, just take it easy and be prepared to accept that some people might not agree with your style.

I appreciate what you are trying to say. Again I was never demanding. By asking the question I was making the attempt to figure it out. I would never arbitrarily insult anyone unless they come at me first. I would think that anyone with over 20,000 plus posts would be more forthcoming with information that is helpful to another Rocket rider. My comments that got this all started was a response to a story about the pure majesty of the Rocket. It is incumbent on other Rocket enthusiasts to share a similar apprehension to their trusty steeds. I do appreciate your enthusiasm that you have for both this forum and the Rocket. It is clear that a few have misunderstood me and my words. But lashing out and making derogatory and negative comments to me will not go unheeded. I hope this crap ends soon because I find the majority to be very humourous, welcoming, and gracious with their advice and Rocketry wisdom. The crickets are worse for some than others... I had crickets and did not really bother me because they weren't to load. When I did the cams and piston upgrade the crickets moved away.

You know Tony, I often wondered if the crickets were a slight pinging that was just amplified once one went to after market air cleaners without actually getting the bike tuned properly as you had yours done. At least that is what it sounds like to me otherwise there is just a roar as you open her lungs up !!!!!!! I think if I had a stocker with added pipes and filters And heard that the first thing I would try is upping the Octane just to see if it went away. If it did it could point to the need for a slight timing alteration in a few particular areas.

OH, by the way I really did like the short story/poem you shared. I copied and used it someplace else and I had several people comment positively on that.
