2023 R3 GT
My new 2023 R3GT is a great bike! The ride home from the dealer was 85 miles of highway, I find the bike to fit my 6' 180lb frame well, its a comfortable highway bike.
Yesterday got her out around town and hit some twisty roads. Some say the bike is heavy and difficult at low speeds and in parking situations. It does not feel very large to me, having had HD touring bikes and a BMWK1200LT in the past. My 35" inseam helps. I came off a 2022 Street Twin, I assumed the R3 would require much greater input to lean, for a larger bike it turns in easily and holds a line a bit better than the Bonnie. Braking is very good. Power, do I even need to comment? WOW is all I need to say.
Fit and finish is equal to any manufacturer. I got the Cardinal red and the paint is excellent. The design features and quality of fasteners and components is top notch. Even the stock seat is acceptable. I am pleased!

...and you got the right color! This was true of the 2.3's and still is today, that the red ones are faster 🤣

The red on the current GT is called Carnival Red.

The red on the original '05 bikes was called Cardinal Red.

Interesting throwback reference to the old colour, gotta be deliberate. Only 2 letters different. But the new colour is metallic, not solid as before.

And it's beautiful.

And definitely faster.
