Well it doesn't go soggy and fall off....
Its fine as long as your filters are up to it (oiled etc..)
Just looked through the opening and saw the amount of crap on the first filter - time for a clean....

I want to make a dry pleated paper filter set-up to put under my OZ Claw. Something with a rain dump to keep the filter dry.

Just ordered the Ramair filter from UK. The Ozclaw doesn't seem to cover the throttle bodies below the filter. Would like to keep filter exposed to air, but want to cover below filter components.

I have the Pipercross filter set up as per @warp9.9 's instruction and pictures.
It will be replaced by the K&N 4040's while Carpenter works on it. He said the K&N's will give it better power.

I put the K&N 2780s on and I am very pleased with the results. The crickets dont really bother me. I had a KZ 1000 with K&N pods and it sounded like crickets, dragons, and KAMIKAZEE all the time. I loved it. Its almost like the smell of napalm in the morning. Its the SOUND of VICTORY!
