I appreciate what you are trying to say. Again I was never demanding. By asking the question I was making the attempt to figure it out. I would never arbitrarily insult anyone unless they come at me first. I would think that anyone with over 20,000 plus posts would be more forthcoming with information that is helpful to another Rocket rider. My comments that got this all started was a response to a story about the pure majesty of the Rocket. It is incumbent on other Rocket enthusiasts to share a similar apprehension to their trusty steeds. I do appreciate your enthusiasm that you have for both this forum and the Rocket. It is clear that a few have misunderstood me and my words. But lashing out and making derogatory and negative comments to me will not go unheeded. I hope this crap ends soon because I find the majority to be very humourous, welcoming, and gracious with their advice and Rocketry wisdom. Capitalizing (i.e. ANYONE?) reads as demanding, to us Aussies anyway, especially after TC and Hanso gave you the heads up on it... I have never lashed out at you and made derogatory comments about you (I lie, I did call you a dickhead but then you agreed, go figure). In the beginning of all this I tried to bring you together by making some conversation about cultural differences, but then I was targeted by you! @CanberraR3 called you out on your story, so what? I could see his point, a lot of us probably don't feel the need to break the spirit of another rider on a "lesser" bike. We all started somewhere..anyway Rick no hard feelings from me, you are mildly entertaining and I wish you all the best with your bike. Btw, you live in a nice part of the world, been there a few years back, nice beaches out on the cape.

Yes we have nice beaches. And I try to be entertaining, I really don't take anything personal and most of what I say or write tends to have a bit of sarcasm attached. I am having more fun with this witty banter than you would think. Just to clarify, Hanso and Tomcats comments were prior to my question. When I read their comments I became interested in the device they mentioned and asked my question. With all this said, I would be more than happy to buy any of you a beer if you ever make it here or I ever make it there. And then we can really have some fun.

I stopped paying attention long ago when the Aussies get cranky,

I figure underneath that tough exterior is a cute little Drop Bear just waiting for a hug...........

In response to a less than subtle dig from @Steel , I posted a reminder about time zones and the diversity we have here. TC offered some very sound advice about how to maximise the benefit you can get from the site. Both posts reflecting a certain style but neither warranted the extended drivel that followed.

@Rick Morris must have posted 20 times in this thread so far, most of it self serving and some of it containing personal insults. He has now hijacked virtually every conversation he's joined and dished out more personal attacks than should be allowed on here - moderators?????

I think it's time some respect was shown to the OP and the conversation remained about the noise from removal of the intake plenum, and not diverted down some track carved out by the above mentioned member. Now we're apparently meant to be interested in beaches in Cape Cod. Guess what? We have beaches too.

Respect is earned. Lostride earned my respect today for what ever that is worth. We had a good conversation. I think you should read some of the 20 post. Otherwise get of my case and try to be nice.

I never mentioned any beaches, I just agreed that our beaches are nice.
