I didn't care for the discoloring on my stainless headers. So I sent them to Jet Hot Performance Coatings. Just Got them back on. IMO, this is how it should have came from the manufacturer.

Considering the same approach. May I ask what the cost was ?
Black Competition Werks slip ons, carbon fiber heat shields and top it off with cerakoted headers.

maybe cerakote the intakes as well ?

The total cost was $403. ($150. was for shipping and insurance). They ceramic coat inside and out then put a top coat of what color you want. It took 3 weeks to get them back but the quality is exceptional. You can go on there site and get your personal quote. I thought about that too, (coating the intake plenums) but I'm happy the way it is.

Does look good. Well done. Do you notice any reduction in the heat output ?
Thank you. Haven't had a chance to ride yet, bad weather. I did start and heat up, then cool down a couple of times to re-torque bolts. you can smell the ceramic on the pipes is strong. But will eventually wear off. It will be hard to tell how much difference it makes. Should have taken temps before and after with a digital infrared temp. meter but I don't have one.

Looks wonderful 👍

Looks really great. I have pending to do that for my crf, I think I'll do it also for the rocket, not a bad price and they are the top guys of the market...

Now, it will be awesome if you get some snowflakes there and they don't melt... :)
