Sorry for being skeptical, but it just doesn't ring true. I know from personal experience and conversations with Bob, he doesn't do anything half way. I find it hard to believe, seeing as even the 240 kit requires a larger fuel pump, that he would put in a fuel pump on the 265 kit so close to borderline that it couldn't supply 285 hp, let alone that he couldn't find a better/easier way to restrict it, as he tunes it. I mean he's working on a turbo kit that will hit 350-400 HP, so I doubt he'd be afraid of turning out 285 hp. I even asked him about keeping my pistons with less boost on the turbo, I don't remember his exact answer, but it was along the lines of why do things half assed, if you're going to make power, make power. I'll ask him next time I talk to him, but it just sounds like a story that got repeated to me, just doesn't ring true, as my dad used to say.
