Bikes we owned....way back when....

My buddy and I though we had some pretty hot bikes with our Honda 750's. Out cruising the slab a V65 came up and just smoked us.
Later I was seriously looking into one, test ride and all but the kids needed to eat, so I passed.

My brother has a VTX 1800 I've yet to try out.
Even with a Rocket in the garage, I still love to oogle the other bikes I see around.

If you look at the quarter mile times on The V 65 and 0 to 60 there's not much difference between it and the rocket other than the rocket it was my favorite bike.

sold it to my cousin bought the Roadster great bike just wanted something different

I had owned a '84 V65 Sabre for 13yrs and given it up to my son now. The Rocket does feel the same, but 3rd gear is just to much on the Rocket!! I love it!

My wife just got this picture from her cousin. We didn't even know it existed. It was taken in Ocean Beach California in 1987. That's me and my sweetie on my 1983 Honda V-65 Magna. I don't care who ya'r that is one badass looking bike !
