Amazing how fast the last bit of tire leaves.

Darksiders run very low air pressure
Not true. Most run 30-32psi, which is in the range of what they were designed for. Motorcycle tyres need more air pressure because they have a smaller contact patch.

I have no doubt that MC tyres perform better on the racetrack, but DS tyres perform more than adequately at public road speeds. However, it is the rider's choice as to what he/she uses.

Yep. I preferred the max pressure in my Yokohama Avid Envigor on my Road Glide. It's probably what I'll go back to when I wear this stock Metzler out. I prefer Commander 2's on the front.

I see darksiders bragging about mileage and it makes me want the same. A motorcycle tire with more rubber and using a harder rubber for center patch. It is a grievous and dangerous thing for a motorcycle tire to get squared off because tire wear. If it starts life round it should die round. A car tire doesnt get squarer when it wears out.
Just sillyness trying to argue a motorcycle tire cant be made to last 20000 miles. [Touring bike tire].

I got 19,000 mile out of my last rear tire. [ Michelin Commander II ] Before I started running the Michelins I only got around 7500 miles.

I've read a couple other people praising Michelin Commander IIs on the rear of the Rocket. Are you guys running a different sized wheel? Commanders aren't offered sized even close to the 240. If I'm incorrect please tell me where I can buy one.

mport has a Touring, which has a much narrower tire than the Standard/Classic/Roadster
