10000 klm service

That's a great price Mitch got but they should never cost you more than $130 in any case. The rears especially are simple to do - 90 seconds with no tools and a bit of finger strength is possible (although maybe not recommended - long nose pliers make it easier) and a few minutes for the fronts, although minimal tools (hex key and screwdriver) are essential. 10 min job, although if you want to give everything a really good clean and sit back and admire as you go, half hour at the most. Whoever was going to slug you $400 is a bloody robber and you should avoid them like the plague.

Wrecker this is my experience with pads .genuine triumph pads are twice the price ,but they are for a reason .i got sick of replacing after market pads every six months where with genuine triumph pads once every couple of years

Yeah makes sense Pete , although these shops seem to charge like wounded bulls for labor, i'll do as much as i can and hope i dont need to claim anything on warranty

Good point Peter. I haven't used genuine pads for years and actually find the front, while working perfectly fine, do feel a bit spongy. I know for a fact that with Yamahas, non-genuine pads do the same thing. EBC or Ferodo work fine but lack 'bite'. Reckon I'll give it go and see what the difference is. Not too fussed on wear, it's such an easy job to do, but would be worth it for better feel.

Wrecka , give Dave from Tyres 4 Bikes a call , he'll do the righty by you. He donated a back tyre for our first RDU auction fundraiser. We raised nearly $4,500 for the Make A Wish foundation. Tell him you're mate of mine ;)
