Best way to power up external GPS unit

You've been given good advice here. There are some power points to tap into that make running wires from the front head unit area simple and clean. It's what I have done to power my GPS unit, then a Lamonster cradle, and a Ram mount for the GPS base. All set. No fuss, no muss!

    DIN Hella plug

Mine works great. No need to touch it except for when I wash the bike. Other than that, no issues. I have a GoPro and QuadLock Qi Charger plugged into mine. Never an issue.

    Pre-purchase questions

My answers to your questions (they may or may not be shared by others)... Any significant difference between a 2023 and 2024/2025 models? 2023 seems to have about $4k off MSRP and some dealers have a few new 2023 available Likely just ironed out any of the kinks of the first 3 or 4 years (i.e...

    Tailbag Recommendation

This fits great on the OEM bag rack behind the seat. Clips off and on in seconds, I have secured the straps in place by weaving them into the rack itself. Holds all my necessary stuff (hat, sunglasses, locks, cleaners for shield, this that the other, a ton). It is expandable and comes with a...

    Tailbag Recommendation

Do you have the rack on the back or will you just put in on the seat behind you as you ride? You also may want to specify what your needs are too? Are you packing stuff for a day trip or an overnighter (if you're not getting saddle bags)?

Stock Seat = Comfy, "Day-Long" Anyone?

I'm 6' and 260lbs and the stock seat is very comfy on my GT. I haven't thought about replacing it once. I've done over 40,000kms on mine, various long days, long hauls, no issues. My experience is solely my own and may not be yours but the seat is not on the list of things needed to change.

    Advice and Reassurance

If this is going to be your "daily driver" then the cost of ownership is important and you're right to give it consideration. There are many variables in your equation. Do you ride a little or a lot (yearly mileage)? Are you a speed demon looking to max every gear from every traffic light or...

    Stickers on rear

Apologies for not being clear. The Triumph Flag under the seat looks great! I wouldn't change a thing. My colour preference would be REFLECTIVE WHITE. The rear fender, my preference would be for ROCKET 3 on the rear, in lieu of 2500CC. That's me, I'm just finicky. The balance of 2500CC is...

    Stickers on rear

I like the one under the seat. Best colour IMDO is REFLECTIVE WHITE!!! That would really make a statement. For me, the 2500CC is okay but not for me (to each his own). Would love to see it as ROCKET 3 in REFLECTIVE WHITE

    Soft rear brake after recall

So in essence, three things could be true... Your service department didn't do the job correctly (always a possibility no matter where you go) Triumph hasn't fully resolved the issue yet Could be your bike (I doubt it but it has to be included in viable consideration) My money is on 2. In...

    Soft rear brake after recall

Sorry to be a PITA but any chance you could provide more details? When did you have it done (date)? What did you have done (there is a Service Bulletin from this year re: rear brake)? When did you notice it going soft (date or days later)? Did you ride it between service and it going soft? If...

    Exhaust removal

No one has written an instruction manual on it. It's pretty straight forward. There are some fasteners around it, there are some rubber mounting grommets underneath, it takes some prying and pulling and then it comes off. No secret sauce. I did it on my back in the underground garage of my...
