Reckon that Thruxton tank does it ... changes the whole look of the bike. I had a spare 900 Thunderbird tank and a rough RIII tank i picked up at a swap meet.. toyed with the idea of cutting the two up and having a T'Bird tank on the Rocket. Would have a similar look ... mmmmm
 
TRIUMPBLOG is an awesome website for those that love earlier Triumphs. Lots of unit and pre-unit bobbers and such ... they're beautiful, some of the bikes guys around the world are building are just stunning. Think the bloke that runs the sites got some sort of 'man-crush' on Steve McQueen though
 

Gotta agree; I love the way it looks - so much better than the "new" tank.
I'd like to see that tank restyle on a Rocket TC. You'd probably have to ditch the bear claw though mate.

Yeh bearclaw have to go.. i was mucking around today , reckon i can fit the truck horn Ponters gave me under my bearclaw. Got rid of overflow bottle that has now left just the right size space.
