I have two more. 95 Thunderbird and 73 Tiger. When I got the Rocket everyone was asking me if I was going to paint it blue, too. :D

Like how you've fitted the earlier sidecover ( and i assume oiltank) .. looks better than the '73 style sidecovers. Nice bikes Bobby.

Donny's home-built drag bike. He handmade every part of it. He's had extra-thick crankcases cast that are bulletproof ,they'll handle nitro. Also had heavy duty cranks turned up,he even made the frame himself. He's supplied some of the cases and cranks to guys in the States that are involved in the veteren drag racing scene. So far the best he's run are low 11's . The belt on the blower was slipping.

Attached is a pic of my Sprint ST. Sadly had to let it go to fund the R3R.
Keen to test ride the new Trophy but need some tips on how to convince the Missus that I need more than one bike

Try pointing out that the RIII will in time become very collectable  ... need to keep the klms down so it will be way more valuable. Of course that would require you to purchase a second bike. If she wants you to sell/trade your RIII to finance the 'second bike' .. be very firm informing her " baby now is not the time to let that Rocket go , and see someone else reap the profits" ;) good luck mate.

Stevex,i traded a 2008 sprint in on my rocket, one of the nice things about Triumphs depreciating so quickly is good used ones can be cheap 2nd bikes.
