Will triumph developed the roadster any further

I know what you mean. I've yet to have anyone take my offer to take mine for a spin. I hope I hear from the dealer tomorrow. Mine is in for vibration. (rear out put bearing ???) 7,351 miles.

Triumph still makes 15 million dollars in profit each year. The R3 may not be its strongest line but it has worked for 10 year's.

Like many, I'm glad I have never seen another R3 on the road in the 3 years I've had Christine. I will say that my daughter could do a better job at marketing Triumph(she's 5) I've gone to numerous rallies and the other brands have demo rides, signs, info booths, etc. Where is Triumph? Nowhere to be found. At a Bike Week? Really? You think there may be a biker or 2 at a rally?

The weight was one of the things that appealed to me when I first spotted a Rocket. We were living up in the Northern Territory and had open speed limits outside of towns. My 2007 Dyna used to bounce around and I was always on red alert for pot holes or ruts in the road.. we'd always be sitting on 160 -200kph. Rocket didn't care about pot holes or ruts.

I reckon that grumpy might have to do something to meet new emissions rules. Maybe choke it up a bit more and turbo charge it. Lots of car co's are going smaller capacity and turbo.

I reckon they should make it a 3 litre, supercharged turbo charged beast and **** the ****s that complain.

Unless red tape eats it I reckon the rocket will be around for a while. IF it does go, I'll be buying a few and keeping them as I don't intend on not owning a rocket ever. If they do go the full hog and make a proper bagger I'd sign up.

My local dealer says he can order a 2015 R3T right now, in both colors. I bet the R3 engine will be around longer than rumors tend to tell us.

They got the OK to sell the 2014's as 2015's and are getting the ones shipped from dealers that don't move as many to ones that do. Just a sticker on the neck that gets another sticker over it and you have yourself a 2015...

I had a recall once on one of my Rockets and when I showed up at the dealer they checked the ecu, the motor s/n and the Vin, then they proceeded with sticking another VIN sticker on mine... so I know they pull this stunt...
