Tony, you're playing with fire mate. You at least have a chance getting off or having them go easy on you with just a little speed. You lay rubber and you leave them with no option. You could not only loose your license but loose your bike. Just the other night coming home I got done. Cop said he'd never seen a bike go from 40 to 140 (km/h) so fast. I was (actually) just wanting to get out in front of the traffic, but I do like to give it a bit. Road was a 60 so 80 over is a big no no. We chatted and he was pretty good about it. Said their new system locks in the radar speed and he couldn't let me off completely but he did drop the speed to 90. $660 and 4 points but a lot better than the $1800 and license it should have cost me. If I'd been on one wheel or laying rubber it would have been a different story and I'd be on foot for a bloody long time.
Serves me right for saying I'd always got away with it. Jinx? You tell me.
