Recommend take three days, Amigo.
The next two days riding around the Spearfish, SD area will be leisurely and restful.
It's 1 hour to Hulett, WY and Devil's Tower then 6 hours to Red Lodge, MT. Should be able to do that in one long day.
Red Lodge to Cody is an easy day.
So, we can do it all in four consecutive days, if that's what everyone wants?

Well, Hulett is one hour away and on the way to Red Lodge so, we could indeed stay there for the third night.
Matters not to me and there are surely enough rooms in town for our group.

just thinking aint no reason to stop spend time there on a already long travel day, when you have 2 days planned riding that area when its only 1 hour away. me I may take off day 2 from spearfish and run over to Helena good person there I owe quite a bit to ,if he will be around catch up to the RAA at red lodge?

Sounds good to me but, I'll miss ya!
More I ruminate on it, the more I like the idea of doing Devil's at the end of day 2.
Will let folks stay as long as they like and Hulett is a friendly little town to stay at.
