Wheel Balancing - Dyna Beads

I have them in the Rocket and The Magna, and have had bouth over 100 MPH on several trips. I have had no vibration. I have had both biker over 100 with stick ons. again no problems. I also ran copper BB's in the Magna for two tire changes ( bouth wheels) again no problems. I like not having weights stuck on the wheels. Just do what works for you and Ride.

I wonder if the issues people are having with the beads is the fact that they aren't using enough in the tire. Each size of tire requires a specific amount of product.

Not sure what the consequence of not having enough is. I would imagine the same as not having enough lead on the rim when balancing???

When I first started playing around with alternative wheel balancing I asked a few of my kin from the Kentucky mountains. Some of the old timers told me they user bird shot to balance their car tires, One shell per tire. I guess it helps to have balanced tires when you have to outrun the revenuers. So i did a little research and found a few articles on using ball bearings and shotgun pellets as balancing weights inside tires. So I tried it using 1.5 oz of Daisey BB's in the front and 2.5 oz in the rear in my Honda Magna. I got 12000 miles on my rear tire and 14000 on the front. the second set got 12000 on rear and 13000 on the front. Their was no noticeable wear in side the tire, The BB's were a little smaller and a lot more power in side but I liked the way the bike road and handled. This time I am using Dyna beads in both bikes. and so far so good.

Found a great place for my Dynabeads. We could open a dance hall here. Stick on weights are working MUCH better.
