Weird clicking sound once the engine gets hot - VIDEO uploaded

Advice given above is what I would do- will take a lot of the guesswork out of it.

whatever oil meets spec, do not be fooled that you need "motorcycle" oil
the service interval is so low that it does not otherwise matter.
Though any good quality motorcycle oil that meets the spec will do it still has to be motorcycle oil as they actually are quite different from automotive oils to withstand the different and more harsh environment of a motorcycle engine. Using automotive oil in our engines is not something I would recommend.

If you have any predisposition towards OCD this could be a very, very bad idea as you might drive yourself to the brink of insanity as I surely would.
Yeah i agree, wait a minute, i cant hear the rattle now

not ture, there is actually very little if any difference as long as it meets spec. JASO is essentially a snake oil scam

I have used Motul 300v racing oil. 5k is waaay too long between changes. It is very good but it doesn’t have the detergents & other stuff in it that lets synthetics go 5-10k between changes. There is a reason that race teams change oil after every race day and it isn’t because they like changing oil. Get some Motul 7100 off of Amazon. It’s what I use, good stuff.

That's what I have waiting for me at home when I get back. First real road trip from California up to Washington and back. I took I5 up but will be taking the scenic route at least for the first day back.
