There is also a road out of Boulder UT called the Burr Trail that goes to Lake Powell that is pretty fantastic.

Well my last remaining friend with a motorcycle that I have been riding with for 35 years just Bi**** out on me for our June ride. He hasn't ridden with me in around 5 years but still has his HD. We were going to Tahoe for a few days like we have done for 25 or so times with groups as large as 8 people. The last 10 years it has been him and I as the gang got smaller and smaller starting in the late 90's. All my friends have given up riding. He told me today we can still go to Tahoe but in a car as he's selling his HD this spring. I don't wanna go now.
So Lone Wolf (that's me) will be riding to Idaho and maybe Wyoming on a separate ride but now I want to check out St. George and the area. Just thought I would put my disappointment out on display.

Sounds like people are just aging out! I have not had a lot of time for many long rides although I have been riding for decades. Life seems to get in the way. Looking forward to some changes in that department soon! Did that stretch with a couple that had not ridden in 20 years, was quite an adventure! It was during covid at the beginNing.

We've made this ride several times. There's a nice resturant right on the river, can't r ed member th he name. It's at a lodge/resort. They have a fancy restaurant in the main building but down at the river they have a grill type. Cooking burgers and dogs with a side buffet.
