Derestricting the electronic throttle in your stock base tune won’t eff anything up. This is essentially what Penner did.
This discussion about how Triumph might give you more power in the next model is reminiscent of the Rocket Roadster. This was billed as “unleash the power!”. All they did was to open up the secondary throttle plates more but not even all the way. By that time, everyone had opened them to 100%. Now you can do the same thing with the electronic throttle, as Penner has done. It would be nice if Triumph would offer higher compression pistons, cams, valves, porting, exhaust, but this is never going to happen.
