Call Gus at Baxter Cycles in Marne, IA. Explain to him the problem and ask what he would do. He is probably one of the best when it comes to the Rocket. He would probably be willing to talk to your dealer and tell them what to do.
+1 on what PIG9R said........the issue still has not been discovered obviously! There has to be a reason why its doing it....funny how Ive heard of the detent spring causing this issue but if a decent mechanic looked at the clutch then maybe its deeper.....heres a funny question........have you tried putting the bike in second? The bike will most certainly take off from a stand still and since you can put it in gear and the bike not move that kind of rules out the clutch anyhow.......put it in a different gear sitting still......your trying to determine if its tranny or mechanic leading up to tranny.........and Gus at Baxters will definetely lend you a hand......you might even ship it to him or trailer it.....that would be worth it for sure and he would fix it right....best R3 mechanic in the country....dont give up yet!!!!!!
Baxter's is so highly spoken of here, if my '05 had a catastrophic breakdown I think I'd bring, or send it to them with no qualms whatsoever. These guys here are alright.
