On 2nd thoughts, with that type of tread pattern I'd agree you could mount it on the front & don't think the rotation of it will make any difference. Looking at the tread pattern it appears asymmetrical so there won't be a rotation indication arrow on it anyway.

The reverse running is for road tires & the way they disperse water. The front tread on these looks counterintuitive, but that's how they're designed, front pushes water away while the rear channels it outwards.
