Unrestricted map for Rocket R and R Black from VIN # AV5457

I have made an unrestricted costum map for the actual Rocket R. VIN AV5457 and up.
It will be at Tune ECU in the costum files section.
it is USA and Canada market only.
The other models and markets will come in the next few days.

ETV2 and 3 are set to 100% with a little more progression in ETV2 at wider throttle openings.
F and L-tables are changed for smoother running at low loads and revs.
AFR target is modified to keep it like that.

Don´t make a reset after loading the map.
But the 12min idle reset is okay.

Any feedback is welcome.

That’s right. But you can copy the revised tables from Penner’s new map into your base map, then load it.

I've been educating myself on basic TuneECU workings like unrestricting and simple things and getting the geeking out done with ahead of time. Everyone seems to really like your work so I'm wondering if there is any way of telling whether or not the map in question will work with the 2024 model? Also I'm having a really hard time finding the map you talk about above.

Hello Protonhound, Danke mussja.

There is a chance, the 2024 models will have a map, that is not (yet) covered by Tune ECU.
To be sure you will have to connect Tune-ECU to your diagnostic port. It will then show the number of the map. If it fits any of the costum maps you are fine.
But we will have to see.

Your base map for S Africa is 31253. You can download it in the app. Then you can copy the tables from Penner’s new GT map into 31253, save it and load it.

so I'm eventually crossing this bridge. using the app for rocket 3 gave GT so the only option is the one for AV5456? However I found only 6 maps 31012 through ...17Map.hex files - no 31253?

If your vin is above av5456, 31253 would be the map for S. Africa. However, you should confirm that this map is the one in your bike. When you connect to the ecu the first time (internet connected), a window should pop up showing the tune in the bike.

The manual says to register the bike (presumably with the developer), your Android device must be connected.
