Unrestricted map for Rocket R and R Black from VIN # AV5457

@Penner I am not mechanically inclined at all. What is the risk to the engine by modifying the fuel mapping long term? Also should we wait until our bikes are out of warranty before applying the map? Can Triumph tell the ECU has been modified even if you flash it back before service?

The manual says to register the bike (presumably with the developer), your Android device must be connected.

Thanks, that's kind of what I figured but when it comes to this stuff I'm not assuming anything and I'll start fiddling with this once I'm past my break in process. I just like to do my homework ahead of time so when I get to it there are no surprises.

Yes, they can tell. There is a counter in the ECU that indicates how many times it has been flashed.
My costum maps are pretty far on the safe side with fueling. You can modify them and gain a few hp.

I've read the warranty twice and from what I understand the only thing that would void a warranty if whatever modification is the cause of a defect. I even called a Triumph dealer in Arizona to ask if installing a Werkes exhaust would void the warranty and they said no. Not that I want to install one of these for the few measly hp gained and a big ugly hole where the stock one was. I like the look of the stock exhaust and with the Penner modified tune on a stock bike it has plenty of oomph, as if it didn't already.
(Of course if it's all about jaw flapping in front of the bar, the more hp the more flapping)

Generally speaking is the fuelling in stock form rich in the midrange, or where did they tweak to get through euro 5. I had a brief look at fuelling table (graph) and it seems to be meatier in the midrange. I still need to look at your work and compare maps. best wishes

Hi All,
I have a 2024 Rocket 3R which I'm struggling to get a map onto. It says incompatible map. I tried downloading "All Markets Rocket R No Restrictions 31018Map" which looks to be the right one. I did try using one that I think matched via the TuneECU app but that didn't work either.

my VIN ends in BR0120

When I connect to the ECU and click Information I get the following which I assume is from my stock ECU:

Map: 31254
Rocket 3 R/R Black
from VIN AV5456
Standard Exhaust
All countries unless a country specific map exists

Im from the UK and have just installed a Comp Werxs exhaust on the bike too. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

When you click on informations under the map tab, you are getting information for the map you opened up in the app, not the map in the ecu. Have you registered the app. When you connect the first time you must register the bike. Then it should show what map number is in the ecu. What is it?

I figured it out, I was selecting the wrong file....
The stock all markets (Including the UK) for vin after av5456 for the R is 31254. The latest Penner unrestricted maps are for the US and Canada and for the R is based on 31255. You don’t want to load this into your bike. Copy the tables from the Penner map into 31254 and load that, assuming it would even be compatible for a 2024.
