Uh oh,passenger heat BIG problem

Funny thing is our last bike was a Street Glide.She claims this is worse.Im not back there so I can't say.With highway pegs I am good,moves my legs away from the heat.Sucks because for me this is by far the most comfortable bike ever.
She is keeping an open mind.Lets see what happens.....Hope I'm not posting in the classifieds!

I can say the beads are great for comfort and heat.
I don't carry a pillion.

Hey guys the excitement of picking up the Rocket yesterday has turned into despair rather quickly.The wife is saying that the heat she feels riding behind me is completely overwhelming and that the bike is useless to her.Granted we are high 90's here in NC with a serious heat wave going on . Couple fellas suggested bead riders but wondering if anyone else has run into this and if so what if anything can be done?
Dealer said at the first service Engine Ice can be added to reduce engine temp a good bit.
Interested in any possible solutions.

What sort of Rocket?. Roadsters have cat's in the end pipes and they get HOT - TORS pipes don't have cat's in. afaicr.

What she was wearing?

I had the same issue with my wife but she was wearing sandals....(she loves to ride like that so what can i do), after a we talked she put on some boots and gear and she stopped complaining. Granted it was mid 80's but atleast she felt better.

A 2300cc bike putting off a lot of heat who would have thoght few solutions get the wife her own bike, get insulated pants for her keep the heat off her legs, in Florida it is hotter than a witches tit so she is going to get hot, if she complains to much leave her at home, make sure she is wearing good gear riding around in flip flops or tank tops make it worse- do you ever see desert people roaming around half naked?

Hmm and I keep wondering if it is because the news is pointing out how much the eastern coast is getting pummeled by unusual higher Temps (tipple digit warnings). Up here we have got so much rain you can fish four out of the 9 greens at the local golf course

I put a piece of water pipe insulation in the gap between the bag and seat. My wife says its tolerable but not comfortable.

What is Engine Ice?

A high performance coolant. It is suppose to dissipate the heat better which allows the engine to run cooler. Likewise after he breaks her in and decide to reflash the ECU a richer map will help the bike run cooler especially down in the lower ranges where the O2 sensor has leaned out the mixture for EPA type emission standards.
