I am all for disabled people getting back into motorbikes as a Trike user and permanent wheelchair user myself. But came across this R3 that has recently been built here in the UK for a guy to take his disabled son out in his powered wheelchair. So the solution is a sidecar that the powered wheelchair (weighing 130 kg) can drive straight into. And to beef up the front end a darkside tyre and complete revised front end. But boy is it ugly. But those who like car tyres on the back now have a potential solution for the front.....

So it's all in what suits your needs and wants.

All strength to anyone who perseveres inspite of adversity!! I met a guy at a rally once who rode a Yamaha twin and he had an artificial leg, jury rigged the gear chage to the righthand side above the brake pedal. He just had to remember to stop and put his right leg down instead of the left, otherwise he got all embarrassed when he toppled over at the lights He thought that it's hilarious when everyone gets out of the cars to help and to check if he was drunk.

Have a friend who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident he has an older model Harley-Davidson trike he has fixed a mount on the back rest to hold his wheelchair he pulls up to the trike hops up on the tire folds his wheel chair up and hangs it on the back rest climbs on and takes off does not want anybody to help him try helping him you will get a good cussing have road several thousand miles with him and he still rides like a madman
