Turn the key on and no power!!

I got the Beaver Kit today. :D

Now I have 2 questions.

First, the instructions say to do it right remove one of the stock headlight wiring to the second headlight. Which one is the second? The way the wires run it looks like one is wrapped up next to the harness that I have to replace and the other is to the far right, next to the frame.

Second, I want to keep the small lights (parking lights) working. I have plans for them.
Do I tie the yellow wires together from the same wire harness that I am using for the headlights or does it matter?

Someone needs to come up with a installation diagram for this kit. If it wasn't for Mexican I would have been lost. It is not clear which harness to tie into (left or right headlight Loom).
From the Pm's that I have been getting I am not the only one that has had problems with the instructions, but I dont mind telling people that I dont understand and now I am saying publicly that others want a diagram because they have had problems as-well.
Will one of you good men please do this so that everyone that wants to install this kit dont have the same problems that we have had?

The kit is very well made but the instructions suck.

And for the man that said that he would call me and walk me through it, yea, thanks allot.:kk:

I will post pics of what I thought was correct next weekend. I will have to wait until then to finish the job.

Yea I am on my :soapbox: .

Fire away you smartarses!!!!!!!!!

Yea buddy. I just had to vent.
My time ran out tonight and I realized that I had lost a couple of hours because of those instructions.

Not sure exactly how the Beaver kit does it but I would not cut the yellow wires if you want to keep the pilot/parking or whatever You want call the little lites in the bottom of the head lights

They have to be cut to eliminate the old wires going to the headlights. They can still be tied in using the old connections.

I am working on something with those wires and bulbes. Thats why I need them.
I really need to get a calling card to you, mate. One for Evil Mitch too, give him a laugh when I'm angry.

I tried to tell eastern beaver years ago that he could have just made a plug and play kit but he would not listen. The wires to the headlight are ok and don't need replacing, all he needed to do was plug in between the headlight plug on the loom and to the plug that connects to it. I think he even sells the right plugs ! He could have made it so easy but did not care !

yeah my set just intercepts the wires and still uses the original wires and plugs, I don't see why any body with a bit a electronics knowledge couldn't cut of the beaver plugs and wire them in the same way

I just cut the wires on the headlight side of the plug and ran everything like I was supposed to.
That is part one of this electrical work I have two more jobs on this before I am on the road again.

Now I must apologize to anyone and everyone that I have offended.

I did get the help that I needed and more.

I should have looked at the schematic before going off.

Sorry guys.
