I've installed it . . . now I gotta figure out how to get the bike and the computer within 6 feet of each other.
Guess I'll be moving the tower to the carport . . . after I work a while of course, but it's installed none-the-less and ready to start tuning. We'll once I download my tuning key from Tuneboy.
I bought a 10 foot USB extension from Circuit City............ran it out the window to my bike on the porch...............worked fine.............they will tell you USB cable is no good over 16 feet...............but worked fine.

I just pulled the bike close to the back door and the PC I've loaded the program on just happens to be sitting right next to the door so it reached. HEH!
So far, I loaded the stock tune into TuneBoy and made connection with the bike and downloaded the ECU info, emailed to TuneBoy and will just have to wait for the Final Edit Key Code from them . . . tap, tap, tap . . . check my email again . . . tap, tap, tap
Then I think I'll start with the aftermarket exaust and no cat . .. I think it's the 44 tune. 38 is stock.
I just downloaded the same to mine. I still have a good bit of backfiring and popping on decel. Did your tune get rid of this totally, or do I understand there is no way to get rid of it altogether?
