Tune ECU rocket3 GT for Australia.

I went into tuneecu Custom maps and checked your vin number against the GT maps available...Map number 31249 says its for vins 'from' AV5457 and up....yours is AZ4314......
Further to that, i downloaded the map and opened it and checked it against the 31013 map i installed and its very similar in the ETV tables....maybe someone could advise you if this map would suit you...?..

..that 31249 map actually is creating more grunt than my 31013 map..especially in the road and sports mode.

3 bucks a litre for premium! Yikes. Even with the AUD/NZD conversion that seems expensive.

Yes the minimum octane requirements for the Rocket is the same worldwide but I remember reading the US rate octane differently so our labelled 95 octane is equivalent to their 91 or something along those lines. I think its just a tank sticker change saying what the minimum requirement is depending on the country.

A US rider could shed some light on it. Be interested to see what their min octane requirement is stated on the tank and manual.

Maybe i am completely off the mark !!

We use RON (Research Octane Number), some places use MON (Motor Octane Number) which are both measured a bit differently, and the US use an average, so theirs is (RON+MON)/2.

You can see the map name but you can't extract it... The standard maps are all on TuneECU though if you need them.

When you connect to the ecu, it should display the map in the ecu. Once you see the map number, download it in the app and save it. Then you can edit it and paste Penner tables into it.

So to everyone that's been helping, your all legends. Had the time to connect and found that my bike has vin AV5456 with map 31253_01 made for Indonesia, Argentina &South Africa. Now I'll be looking for the right map in the database. Saw on tune ecu the T_3&4_cyl_Map's folder. This is the best place to get them from? Everyone have been talking about Penner maps, does he have a seperate database somewhere?
