Tune ECU Com Problem

Thanks Mate your a HERO !! hope it all goes well :D
I would imagine yours is not far away, you will get a shock at the size of the boxes it all comes in but its for all the wire harnesses and it is a bit dounting when you open it all up but don't stress read the the instuction from the link because if yours is the same as mine the instruction go from pluging the main plug then goes straight on to the O2 sensor completely skiping the the other plugs in harness :confused::confused::confused::confused:, lucilly I remembered seeing a downloadable instalation instructions, all in all quite simple to fit, I'll hookit up to the laptop in morning to check the fuel map is at a good starting point for my set up .... then go for a ride:cool:

I just printed the link info, I didn't pay the extra postage so it could be a couple of days ..I went back to tracking page but my track number isn't listed now

I just hope the Installation disk and cable work on my Lap top. I don't fancy going through the TuneECU sager again.

Looking forward to hear what you think after the test :D

BTW.. I am a bit puzzled by the last page 5 iem 16.. it talks about speed input and Temp input and where the wires are..but doesn't say what to do with connections??

I actually downloaded the software of thier site as my 10 inch laptop doesnt have a diskdrive and after today when I connect it via the suppied USB cable I will let you know more:)
As for the speed and temp inputs they that is quite simple on the PCV there is a row of little port holes with corisponding grub screws you simpley have to run wires (not supplyed) from the points they describe to the ports but that is only if you want to use some of the advance features, I have not connected them up yet as I am going to keep it simple till I have sussed out the rest of the basic features. Also the those advanced feature would probally be more important if you were racing cos the temp input is so you can delay the AutoTune function till it reaches a certain temp and the Speed input is probally more a race track thing or to correct the speedo read out which I have already done with Tune ECU which by the way I would not give up on try using another cable

Just took it for a Blast (and I don't say that lightly) Soooo much smoother of the bottom end seemed smoother all round and definatly more grunt not to mention response, considering as I had it running fairly good playing around with TuneECU. The Auto tune has cleaned up areas that I was having trouble sorting, mind you there were areas that I obivously got right, but overall a definate improvement... money well spent
now All I have to do is play with the AFR table to get the most out of it:D

Sounds Good Hans, I have arranged to borrow a OBDII cable from slickrick so I will give this TuneECU another try.. I want to save the Original Tune then load a suitable tune into the ECU prior to the PCv installation.. I presume this would be the way to go,
Cat delete pipes are on order with NCYYAM ex Triumph back order, hope its still available.

The cables I have found on ebay say they are not compatible with win 7 64bit systems.....that is what I have. Which cable should Iget. It seems that I have the program properly installd. I can see it but that is about it. :)

I have 32 bit win7 but I need to eliminate the cable or the software conflict.

yep pcv kicks arse my machine is smooth and powerful from start to full throttle
i love it
I think you should get yourself the AutoTune, you already should have ideal AFR set tablesfrom your dyno tune but if you change altitude the Auto Tune will readjust for the change in conditions, you also never need to go near dyno again unless you want to see ponys, I know your guy said not to bother but that probally because it would put him out of a job should you decide to make any other exhaust or mechanical changes as the Auto Tune will adapt your tune it doesn't care what you do it just follows the AFR tables you have set to give economy and power where you want it!!:D

+1 on that opinion
Yeah guys it is good but even Better once You have the AutoTune, even with the bike just sittting there runing on the tune PowerCommader had preloaded It sounded sweet turn on the Auto Tune and even sweeter
Took it thru a really tight twisty spot where you have to drop low in revs in first gear touch pegs and poweron hard to next corner (but it is not worth shifting up into second) between corners reving out all the way to 7500 then back off into corner touch other side pegs and power back on hard half way out of corner into straight and even the darkside was trying to break free, verdit No lumpyness or abruptness.
I always could just go slow:eek: but what would b e the fun in that:cool:
my next project is to transpose the AFR tables From one of the Ripper Wayne Tripp Tunes on to a Zero PCV table and get really serious cos at the moment it is just using the compromise AFR table preloaded in the unit....... keep ya posted

just remind me what changes you have or going to make I know I sent you one tune before but that if you are running triple K&N's, cat delete and TOR's with a higher rev limit of 7500 I also have the same tune with a std rev limit if you prefer. I also have a nice tune that Ian (IDK) sent me for triples, cat delete and std mufflers, let me know and I will look what I have got. If you do give up on the Tune ECU all is not lost because the PCV with Auto Tune will give you a much running bike and I could always send you a PDF of the AFR table to put in to get you started;)
