Triumph Quit Ignoring Your Ignition Problems

Not that we're seeing. Lights are on a relay now (since 2012). Although not as good a fix as it could have been, it does take the load off the switch.

I had this problem on the weekend , 2010 roadster its in the shop now getting fixed under warranty i hope ?
I had blinkers and brake light but no dash lights or headlights so sounds like the same problem as everyone else.

I'm not sure if I posted this about my 06 Rocket but 1 time out only one side of the bikes lights and gauges worked? reminded me of my old beezer. all it took was shutting down swinging the bars back and forth and voila like new. I know theres loose wires down there and now that its too cold to ride i'll fix it. Just saying before anyone wastes good $$$ on a tow i've logged over 2500 miles since the wiring started acting up!

Am riding a 2012 roadster.
Am facing the same bike start problem & i used to face bike keep died off.
Am wondering if EB kit can fit my bike...
Thanks alot for starting this thread...

The EB kit or a self made version (I have made a few for my fellow Aussies but postage would blow out the cost similar to buying the EB for the overseas guys) is a good investment as although Triumph so-called fixed the ignition switch overheating problem they merely shifted the load to another spot (the hi/low dip switch) which I am sure in time will prove to be problematic there are posts explaining how to make your own if you are handy with a soldering iron and have an understanding of basic auto-electronics, otherwise the EB kit is simple and easy to install

Thanks alot Hanso for the info...
Gotta check with the Triumph dealer if they can help me on tis eb kit as I'm afraid that i might screw things up if i do it myself...
Another question, is the eb kit for rocket similar to my roadster?
Am on a 2012 speed triple r...

The eb kit itself can solve the problem or new ignition switch is required to be replaced too?
Thanks...

If you have not had any ign switch related issues yet then you would be fine you should check the wires coming from ign switch for heat damage if none just fit the EB kit, it by the way is very simple plug and play
