Transmission issue

Thanks for that wonderful pic. Going to see who in town can work on my Triumph. Anybody re and re a tranny lately? Ballpark me on the cost?

Just waiting for the trailer to show up and take it away, no riding for a while I guess.
If you get a chance to post some pics of whatever they find inside, it'd be much appreciated! As another owner of an older R3, I follow these threads closely.

Curious......... how many miles are on the clock, TriumphRIIINewB???

Copart has a 2010 Roadster they will be auctioning off in Canada I thinkl Alberta. Looks like the front end took the hit amd the engine is fine only 8000 miles on her. You should see if you can get it cheap and then just stuff the engine in yours. You'd probably make some money parting out the rest of the stuff. Just an idea that might be easier for ya.

Now once you get it back up don't pull the clutch in and rev the tits off it or you'll be replacing lifter shaft and lifter piece. In fact you can get the same resulting feeling if you hit yourself in the groin with a 3 lb. Hammer

Cannot answer for MrNewbe but I have 70000miles on my 2005std ans still the original TPS , as I have said numerous times before my 2005 Rocket is/must be one of the most reliable bikes that Triumph ever built and I am going back to when the Germans owned triumph.
