Trailer hitch for R3T

i reckon the TT21 is for the touring John, as it looks different from the R3 one, I can ring them and make sure if you like

Yeah, If you could give them a call, that would be great... I don't really feel like making that long distance call.

cancel that...
They just emailed me back...
It is for the R3T, they are going to correct it on their site.

Thanks for the offer though Dave.

I don't know of there is a difference for the 3 R3 models. Better email them and ask.

$295

I have the R3 hitch from HitchUSA. It's built for the Standard. It uses the passenger peg carriers to attach to. If you have foot boards you'll need to adapt it. There's some pics I posted of the mounting in the Technical forum.

I have my hitch for sale in the Classifieds section.

How much?

I hate chrome, but if its a good deal, I'll overlook it. How much you want for them. I have rear foot pegs and rider floor boards, on my 2005 model. I am slowly elimination anything that shines on my bike.

i just bought a 2008 rocket 111 touring and wanted a tow bar same as i did for my previouse bike, a suzuki vl800, so i made one. i will post pics soon as i put them on computer. the problem i have now is when i came to wire it up i did it like my other one and did all the conections from the back lights and indicators. on the vl800 this worked fine but on the rocket the rear lights and brake light are fine but the indicators get knocked out altogether no matter where i join in to the indicator circuit. has anybody got a way round this? it is now tuesday and i need to use trailer for weekend away this week.
thanks, father teg

hello mate
i reckon off the top of my head you would be looking at £300 + postage which to the states i have no idea how much that would be as it is a heavy duty tow bar. not like the ones we all see from manufacturers. i am not a company i just make things for myself and friends, mainly to keep costs down but also because everybody can do bolt ons from the custom shops. if you want one i will need to know a couple of things so just email me and i`ll get back to you.
cheers,
father teg (ian)
