Trailer hitches...

I should have looked at this thread earlier... just ordered a hitch out of Canada from Trailers Etc. cost me $249.00 US shipped. Will post an update when I receive it for my 2008 R3T I just got.... Ride fast all!
Got word today from TRAILERS-ETC out of Canada that they have refunded my money and sent a message that there is an eternal backorder...... BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD FOR A HITCH I GUESS... Ideas anyone?

Hey Rocky
I have a hitch from Trailer inc in Canada . It is a very easy hitch to fabricate . I just happened to have taken it off to do some work on the rear end of my bike . I believe I could actually stencil it out on crap paper . It can be cut out of ½ or ⅝ steel plate . This you could have done at a steel shop & it would probably be much cheaper . Let me know if your interested and I would work on this during the weekend . I would send picture of hitch on and of the bike No charge , just helping out .
Bernie

Trailer hitch for a Roadster

Funny thing is, I had it so long, I don't remember which parts are part of the bike, and which go with the hitch. I think there was a strut that went across that I no longer have, I'll have to look at a parts fiche. The hitch I think replaced a strut that went side to side to keep bags from sagging, but I'm pretty sure the hitch is Touring specific.
