Touring on a Roadster Dilemma

Just go commando whilst wearing a kilt...... WTF are you blokes talking underwear for?
Just take your spare undies and socks in a Tupperware container so they will retain freshness etc

my underwear are color coded yellow in front brown in back (so I know which way they go on)

My rule of thumb for long distance riding on any bike, is ride for two hours or 100 miles whichever happens first then stop for coffee a cake and a leg stretch.

you could alway get serious about taking some gear

packed ready for travel home away from home for two Camp All set up

and a new little project I am working on I rescued this from being trashed just needs a new axle and some TLC and I'll have a nice little retro box 3 ft x3 1/2 ft trailer

I dunno, at that point you may as well just drive a truck...

longest trip would have to be about 4,000km, I towed it up to Hervey Bay RDU, round Tasie twice, twice a year to Phillip Island for the last 7 years

Before I got the camper trailer I had a "Classic Ultra Lite" trailer which I towed for many km and to 4 Ulysses AGM's and went up to Yeppoon Qld that was probably my longest road trip towing a trailer, I used to love that little trailer as it had almost no impact on the bikes handling I used to chuck in the tent, gas bottle and cooking gear and away I went, there have a few time in recent times where I want go away by my self but did not want take the camper yet I still needed some basics I really did not want to pack on bike so when I saw the opportunity to rescue the little trailer I grabbed it there is a solid chassis under it but a crappy axle that would not pass roadworthy test so I will build a new axle and put rego on it, I will use that little trailer for those Solo camping trips with a few comforts
