The Outlaw's Storm

Keepin the Rocket. Pickin up the Storm tomorrow. Just ordered my tag for the bike. If you come across a Storm with a tag that reads J.WALES you either have found me on the bike or very near by in which case look for the little red laser light trained upon your forehead. That is all.

I thought about sticking two big leather ears on the side of the fuel tank and naming it Barack. But then I figured 9 out of 10 idiots would want to stop and talk to me like we were long lost friends.

I didn't know Josey Wales had batteries to power a lazer...

I use Pro Honda Spray Cleaner which used to go by the name Honda Clean. It's pretty cheap and works really well on the flat black roadster. I keep a small can in the saddlebags in case I happen accross an HD bar and everyone wants to look at the cool triumph. The cleaner makes the paint look darker and more satin. It has a wax like compound that protects from water spots and doesn't build up. You can use it to spot clean without water. Good for gloss, flat, chrome, glass, you name it. On shinny surfaces, wipe it off and then lightly buff with a clean dry microfiber towel. All this said, I still only clean it once or twice a year.

They didn't have Springfield Armory automatics either but we do now. Don't need a laser, just use it to convey a message.

I saw a YouTube video where a guy just used Windex, cheap and effective and evaporated nicely. Unfortunately harley makes a Denim Paint Cleaner that works well from what I hear.

Windex damages the paint. It cleans any protectant off the paint and will allow it to oxidize quicker. I only use windex as a first step (to remove any wax) before buffing out old paint with rubbing (cutting) compound. It's cheaper than a wax stripper. I wax windows on cars to make them more dust/water resistant. We don't get rain as often as most places, so I can't rely on nature to clean my glass.
