Who all is going from the Florida Panhandle area? I know Scot in exile, BoogerDave and Baggage1 are going? Are you guys going up Friday? If so, I'd like to latch on to the tail end of the convoy.

P.s. I got an email from the dealer yesterday and will get the re-called Bridgestones off the bike this Wednesday. That's a load off my mind. I wasn't overly concerned because I don't ride my bike hard so I likely don't have any "torq induced" damage and I certainly wasn't going to cancel the trip over it. That said, I'm a "rather be safe than sorry" type so I'm happy they're coming off. All of my friends have been telling me I should do the trip on the old tires and then get them replaced. I think I'd rather just go ahead and get the new tires on.

Hopefully I am the last to cancel..I woke up sick thursday and stayed home and left on Friday am and rode 452 miles south to Ashland,Oregon..upon awakening on saturday the flu returned and I pepto-bismo-uped and made it 70 miles south to Weed,Ca. and ran into rain,hail and sub40 weather..made a decision that the mind was willing but the 66 year old body said no and returned home taking 2 days and a stop in Woodburn,Oregon.Sorry that I wont be able to meet up with all the Captains but there will be Rockets Across America 5..God Speed to all and have a safe trip!!Bob

I actually watched the weather a day or two ago and it didn't look good for you then.

Daryl, I'm not sure if we are heading out thursday evening or VERY early friday morning. You are welcome to ride up with us.

My party is now down to 2 . . . . Pete has cancelled. I may have another non-rocketeer riding up but I dont know yet.
