Diana and I made it home around 4pm today. The bike made it all the way with not too much grinding. I wanted to thank everyone for the way they treated Mark, Diane and Don. They thought they would be treated like outsiders since they didn't ride Rockets, but you guys accepted them into the group. Just goes to show that Rocket riders are a different breed. We had a great time and are waiting for next year.

I met Don and Mark Sunday night and as I turns out we're almost neighbors. I probably met Diane too but I was already self medicated and I'm not very good with names. Don suggested that we meet up at Fast Eddy's after I get my bike fixed. I'd like that. Hope it doesn't take long to get the parts.
Maybe Rocket owners are a different breed because Rockets are a different breed.
Its great to get such fast responses from Maggie Valley! Glad to hear everyones is OK and things went fairly well. Talking my wife into next year, and Ill be looking so I can hopefully pick a vacation week that jives with RAAV (there I said it!). Looking forward to more reports and pics!!! God Speed
Wildwilley and I are about to head out on the final leg. He has +-160 and I have about 360. We saw Lonzol and Skip in Knoxville for a short while yesterday morning, hopefully their trip goes as well as ours.
Glad I took the 6 days, it was a fun to see Captains from RAAIII again and meet new folks on this trip. Great job goes to the Holiday and Steve & Katie!
